The room had a nice view, but was small and overpriced for the quality.

The breakfast was very very good and delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant where it was served. We got extremely pleasant and brand-new room with a GREAT view of the loch and a bar and the bedroom.

We were only there overnight to get the ferry next morning. The bed was the most comfortable I had had during a week of travelling about - bliss!

The hotel had a good charm with lovely decor that felt inviting, a perfect complement to its historical roots. The cozy lounge area made it easy for us to relax and share stories over a cup of tea.
Better bathroom facilities would enhance the experience.

Well laid out rooms, I had excellent experience.
Well-organised and wonderful old hotel, I loved its central location close to the ferry terminal, the other hotspots, and the restaurant which was very good. The breakfast was delicious with local fresh products and served meals, as for instance, the staff was pretty friendly and amiable.

Well located, close to town centre and shopping area. Comfortable room with pleasant view over to the castle.
Cramped bathroom. Shower didn't work in one of the rooms. The cafe's "afternoon tea" was very limited - tea and biscuits or waffle with ice- cream (without the ice-cream as the machine was broken). No scones, muffins, tea cakes or fresh cream cakes. When asked whast was meant by afternoon tea, the waiter said "well, you can get a cup of tea in the afternoon".

The breakfast was great exactly as I hoped, with served meals and local fresh products, as for instance. Got the same guest room booked online with a balcony and a great view plus very comfortable beds.

The room was clean and quite well maintained. The food in the BoatShed Restaurant was excellent on both evenings, the breakfast was very good and plentiful. I will be returning to this Hotel in the near future and would recommend to others.
I would have liked a lower cost room rate, I felt it was a little pricey compared to others.

The location itself was unbeatable and brilliant, near An Lanntair Auditorium. The service offered was excellent.

Always a friendly welcome and very comfortable bed which is a must for a hotel when away on business. The breakfast here is great - must be with Stornoway black pudding!
Only thing was radiator heat gets bit lost at window but noticed a portable heater in room which did the job.

The super nice team, even made a space in the restaurant for our dog which is such a cool idea! Our double room was newly renovated and really clean too. We had a great view of the harbour which was chill. Will def be back next time!
only downside is the room was a bit small and a little pricey for just 1 night.
